Hiring Territory Technology Managers for our McCoy Construction & Forestry Dealership in Fenton, MO

Apex Technologies, an affiliate of McCoy Construction & Forestry – a prominent John Deere dealership group spanning 25 locations across the Midwest and East South-Central Regions – is seeking Technology Territory Managers.

Technology Support Managers are responsible for the after-sale performance and technical support of all SmartGradeTM and integrated grade control equipped machines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a comprehensive customer database.
  • Develop expertise in construction technology and SmartGrade™ products.
  • Support MCF territory managers with SmartGrade™ machine sales, setup, and support.
  • Monitor inventory levels of SmartGrade™ and construction technology and provide updates and recommendations to management.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and manage disputes through appropriate channels.
  • Follow up with customers post-purchase to confirm satisfaction.
  • Assist with accounts receivable collection as needed [1].
  • Document all sales, rentals, and demonstrations according to company processes.

Benefits:

  • $65,000 base + commission
  • Expected earning $100,000 - $180,000/year

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Construction and forestry equipment dealership experience required.
  • Must have an understanding of construction technology. Including: GNSS, Total Stations, and Machine Control.
  • Degree in an Engineering/Technology/Marketing discipline or equivalent industry experience. (University Degree or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 3 years related equipment experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial drive and work ethic
  • Capable of selling, promoting, and marketing
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Effective working cooperatively in a team environment
  • Willingness to travel within assigned territory (up to 75%)
  • Knowledge of construction industry (Performs more complex functions, understands principles, may teach others).
