Hiring Yard Workers for our McCoy Construction & Forestry Dealership in Lexington, KY

Yard Workers purpose is to help with tasks within all departments. As a Yard Worker, your goal is to limit all departments’ downtime to run the day-to-day business more efficiently. While performing job duties, Yard Workers will gain basic knowledge on how each department operates.

Yard Worker Responsibilities:

• Clean, align and rotate equipment displays to create the best image for the business
• Provide thorough inspection of new equipment
• Check in equipment for service and keep yearlong file of IN/OUT records of whole goods
• Ensure equipment has all the proper documentation before leaving the store
• Assist in loading the equipment leaving the store, including proper rental agreement, Insurance certificate from the customer, etc.
• Maintain a list of all equipment and attachments in inventory, reviews and updates whole goods and attachment inventory as needed
• Assist the parts department to ensure products are stored properly and placed on proper shelves in the parts warehouse
• Work in conjunction with other departments to maintain and clean, safe, and professional environment for customers and employees
• Deliver parts and machine attachments to customers as needed
• Coordinate daily activities of equipment at branch, including sales, service, parts and inventory
• Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, electronic, or schedule form

Yard Worker Requirements:

• Construction and forestry equipment experience required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Forklift certified (will train on the job for right candidate)
• Good work ethic
• Ability to handle fast-paced work environment
• Strong communication skills (oral and written)
